They're back! The fabulous Burlington High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team has revived their internationally acclaimed #EqualPay project. A brand new batch of t-shirts --white with black lettering, 100% organic cotton, American-made and locally printed at a woman-owned shop -- will be available for sale during all the Homecoming games at Buck Hard Field (52 Institute Rd.) on Saturday, October 16th from 10am right up to their #EqualPay game against MMU at 7pm.
They are asking for a minimum donation of $15/shirt. All proceeds will augment their #EqualPay Fund, Vermont Community Foundation's first youth-led donor advised fund. Over the last two years they have granted over $10,000 to increase access to sports for girls and support efforts to close the wage gap.
