The EJU food shelf will be open this Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rt. 15 Jericho, and residents of nearby towns are welcome! Distribution set up will be drive-through with pre-packed bags of staples and fresh bread, produce, cheese, meat and eggs. Weather permitting, there will also be outside tables with miscellaneous items.

Thank you to local growers who have provided fresh vegetable this season, to those who have placed donations in designated bins at Hannaford, Price Chopper and the Jericho Market, and to others who have donated through the 11 local church sponsors of the EJU Ecumenical Ministry. There is an ongoing need for such staples as baked beans, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, applesauce, and canned ready-to-eat meals.
