Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We've had a fruitful summer tending to the gardens at my parent's house. It's been so healing to see the gardens produce this season and to have the opportunity to connect with friends and neighbors as we work. On Wednesday a final load of harvest will head to the food shelf. On Sunday we will put the garden to bed.
You're invited to join us for a final garden work day at Marty Illick and Terry Dinnan's house at 442 Lewis Creek Rd. this Sunday October 17th from 9am-noon. We will be putting the gardens to bed. Bring your own garden gloves if you like using them and your favorite hand tool for weeding.
At 11:30 we'll stop garden work and celebrate the season with a few words of gratitude and a finger food potluck. We encourage you to bring a dish to share (finger foods only please, we will not be providing plates/silverware).
In appreciation,
Tai
