Join us at the First Church in Barre, UU for a celebration of our 225th anniversary and Samhain, the pagan predecessor of our Halloween!
At 10am, we'll host a service explaining the history and rituals of the holiday.
At 11am, we'll have a potluck lunch, and around 11:45-12 we'll starts crafts and activities.
Since Samhain is about honoring the dead, bring a photo or symbol of a person/people you'd like to honor for our altar. (We'll also have notecards to write their names on if you forget.)
BYO carving tools to join in our pumpkin & root vegetable carving contest—we'll provide the pumpkins.
