Smokey House Center's regular Community Work Days have started and will run into the fall. Volunteer on our Community Farm project anytime on Wednesdays 3:30pm-6:00pm and Fridays 9:00am-Noon. We'll plant, cultivate, harvest, haul, process, and pack a range of fall root crops and get into other farm projects with neighbors. Meet us in the fields at 426 Danby Mountain Road. There will be a coordinator and weekly list of activities. Tools are provided, some garden gloves are available. Bring your own if you prefer, and bring water to drink. Community Work Days will be rain or shine unless otherwise posted.
