Dear Parents & Community Members,

We are currently considering finalists for the Superintendent’s position. Our Search/Interview Committee interviewed four individuals this past Monday and Tuesday evening and we have invited two candidates to spend some time in the supervisory union on Monday, May 19 in the library at Otter Valley. We are extending an invitation to parents and community members to meet candidates in an open forum on Monday evening from 5:00 to 5:30 and 5:30 to 6:00. We encourage those of you whom are able to attend to share your feedback with the Search/Interview Committee immediately following at 6:00.

Candidate A: Carl Chambers is current the Curriculum Director at Windham Northeast Supervisory Union in Bellows Falls.
Candidate B: Jeanne Collins is currently Superintendent of Schools in Burlington

We hope that a number of you can join us and very much appreciate your input to this important process. The Search Committee will also be conducting site visits of our candidates’ current places of employment. We anticipate making a recommendation to hire our next superintendent at the Full Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 28.
