The May performance of “Considering Matthew Shepherd” is a “modern-day Passion” by Craig Hella Johnson. It is a moving, powerful, and uplifting work that explores human hate and bigotry around us and within ourselves through the painful circumstances of Matthew Shepard's murder. The music is eclectic in style with solo and small ensemble opportunities throughout.
