Week One of two weeks of M-Th mornings (9-11am) dedicated to learning the art of creating "Barn Quilts" begins this week, July 7-10. Come at 9am to the red barn (GMC library parking lot) to join Jason Janson--our Poultney Community Arts Organizer/Artist-in-Residence for the summer--to add your details to this 6-week-long project. Jason will be based at the college's Cerridwen Farm, but partnering with the Poultney Historical Society, and any other organization/school that wants to join in on the collaborative creation with kids, adults, any partners, a 10+ piece Poultney Barn Quilt trail project of 4' X 4' (and smaller sizes) of wood board decorative paintings that end up mounted and displayed across business and buildings in Poultney by summers end.
