Join Lesley Alpert for fun evenings of easy international folk dancing. No experience and no partner required. The folk dances taught are really easy, as simple as walking in different patterns to simple rhythms and to melodious music from different countries.
Why join in folk dancing? Because these easy dances will be done in community settings so we meet new people. They offer us a chance to share a joyful experience that reminds us how much we are connected. They offer us exposure to different musical styles and rhythms. They provide gentle physical and non-stressful mental exercise which we need, especially as we age. Moving our bodies to happy music is joyfulness personified!
