Come join Scrag Mountain Music this Saturday October 16, 7:30pm at Bethany Church in Montpelier for a concert of music on the theme of healing. Special guests HUB New Music from Boston (cello, violin, clarinet, flute) join Artistic Directors Mary Bonhag, soprano and Evan Premo, double bass in a program of the music of living composers. Featured on the program is a new work by Premo called Fire-flowers, which acts as a personal exploration of the destructive and life-giving aspects of fire and is a metaphor for the pandemic about how powerful personal growth can come from a profoundly challenging time.
