We have outgrown our space and have a venue change to the dining room at The Mad River Barn.

Following up on the Education Funding Forum and the lack of progress with education funding reform this legislative session, concerned School Board Members and citizens are convening as a working group to develop an alternative education funding system proposal. Many at the forum felt it was not enough to criticize what isn't work well for us, but that we need to design and promote a better option.

The group welcomes anyone particularly concerned about reform and willing to work constructively to bring it about. We have phased the work at hand and the first session will focus entirely on the design criteria for a better system. Anybody who has not yet signed up to participate and who thinks they may be interested, please reach out to me, Heidi Spear, at hshenry@gmavt.net. I will get you more materials on the group effort. Even if you can't make this session, if you are interested in staying in the loop, let us know. We are developing an email list for ongoing collaboration and scheduling future sessions.
