In Partnership with Catamount Arts, The Art House has organized a film series!
This months theme reflects three different boycotts depicted in the Art House current exhibit:
BOYCOTT! The Art of Economic Activism.
The Civil Rights Movement, South African Apartheid & The Israel Palestine Conflict.
Films will be followed by a facilitated community discussion

These films are FREE and will be shown at the Masonic Hall in Craftsbury for more info call 802.586.2200

April 12th 6pm:
Mississippi Burning
This film depicts an interpretation of the FBI case that investigated the murder of three civil rights workers in Mississipppi. Circa 1968. Actors: William Dafoe & Gene Hackman
Warning this film is Rated R for violence and language

April 19th 6pm:
Invictus
Set in South Africa during Nelson Mandela's first term as President. The film highlights South African Apartheid through the story of a Rugby Team seeking to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup.
Actors: Morgan Freeman & Matt Damon
Rated PG-13

April 26th 6pm:
Lemon Tree
The story of a Palestinian widow who must defend her lemon tree grove when a new Israeli Defense Minister moves next to her and threatens to have her lemon grove torn down. (IMDB)
Actors: Hiam Abbass & Rona Lipaz-Michael
Rated PG
