TWO-DAY WORKSHOP: JULY 28 & 29, 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM
Fee: $195, which includes an information and exercise booklet
This two-day workshop teaches students to use fast drawing techniques, writing, watercolor, and collage to record their travels in a sketchbook. Students learn to approach their sketchbook as both a personal journal for their travels, and as a work of art. The intensive two-day class will feature fun exercises, slides of examples of travel sketchbooks, and teacher demos. We’ll also make our own accordion sketchbook, and use it to create a pen and watercolor narrative. The class will use lovely Greensboro Village and the area around the Highland Center as source material. See why a past student said, “This class changed my life!”.
