Crazy Quilting at Maclure Library

Past event
Jun 9, 2015, 6 to 8 PM

Please join us at the Maclure Library for a 3 part workshop on Quilting.
Charity will be teaching a workshop on crazy quilting on 3 Tuesday nights in the month of June at the Maclure Library in Pittsford. Materials provided, some machines available. This a free event. Come learn how to crazy quilt and discuss the historic craft as a metaphor for community, mutual aid learning and improvising through life's challenges! Come to one or all three evenings, Tuesdays June 9, 16, and 23 from 6-8 PM.

In this workshop we'll craft pieces to contribute to one collective product, as well as work on individual projects. Feedback on the experience will be deeply appreciated though not required. This pilot workshop will inform a developing expressive-arts group work method that I will be presenting as part of my MA in Psychology program at Goddard College in September. Please call Maclure Library at 483-2972 for more information.
