Java Programming is coming to the Greensboro Free Library. The library will be sponsoring a four-week course in Introductory Java Programming in January. It will meet from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays, January 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at the Library. No previous programming experience is required and the course is open to everyone ages 10 and up. Registration is required and the course will be limited to ten participants. Each participant should have his/her own laptop computer (Mac-OSC, Windows or Linux). A few laptops will be available for use by participants who don’t have one.

A special optional session will be held at the Library on Saturday, January 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. to provide help with laptop preparation, as needed.
The course will be moderated by Dr. Tom Anastasio, former Director of the Computer Science Program at Salisbury University in Maryland and now a Greensboro resident.
