This Saturday, May 17th the Brewster Ridge Disc Golf Course at Smugglers' Notch Resort will be holding it's first annual Learn To Play Day! This event will run from 1:00pm-4:00pm and kick off with a free BBQ before from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Participants of any age or ability level are welcome! The event will take place at the Brewster Ridge Pro Shop at 1259 Edwards Rd in Jeffersonville, VT located at the base of the ArborTrek driveway.

We will have instructors ready to lead groups and teach the basics of the game. Using a system of stations, participants will learn proper grip, putting technique, how to throw mid-range discs, as well as the history and rules of the game. Discs will be provided and at the end of the session, the courses will be opened up for free play. All you have to bring is yourself! For those looking to continue playing, select discs will be available for sale at a discounted rate of $5 for participants of Learn to Play Day. The pro shop also has a full compliment of all the disc golf equipment and apparel that you need to play!

We hope to see many of our community members on Saturday for this free event! It's going to be a great way to kick off the spring.
