ORDINARY ELEPHANT CONCERT - Richmond - OCT. 17
Valley Stage Productions is hosting it's first "P.M. Sundays" concert on Oct. 17 at Richmond Congregational Church beginning at 4:00 p.m. with the first of 7 performances beginning with award winning duo Ordinary Elephant. (https://www.valleystage.net/ordinary-elephant-10-17-21/).
"Authentic and true" are the words that come to mind when listening to the collaboration of husband and wife Pete and Crystal Damore, their connection, and their influences (such as Gillian Welch, Guy Clark, Anais Mitchell) all meet on stage.
"I'm a big fan of Ordinary Elephant—their intimate songs, the weaving harmonies, and the stories that draw you in as if you were gathered around an enchanted campfire."
- Eliza Gilkyson
"Two become one, in song…hand-in-glove harmonies surprise the listener with focused intensity and musical mastery," says Mary Gauthier.
The Associated Press is calling their latest album, Honest, "one of the best Americana albums of the year."
