West Bolton artists Rob Mullen and Bonnie Rowell reconditioned an old wooden sailboat this spring and Rob sailed Lake Champlain from bottom to top (and revisited favorite spots) from June - September. Seven other artists including Bonnie joined through the summer. The resultant artwork is being displayed at the Highland Center for the Arts. Musicians Dave Mallett, The Mallett Brothers Trio, and Tish Hinojosa are now joining forces with a concert, also at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro next Sunday. The art show opens at 2:00 and the two-hour concert starts at 3:00. The art show is free and will hang at HCA until October 31. All concert tickets and art sales benefit the Vermont Wildlife Coalition, the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, and the Lake Champlain Committee.
