Rural Vermont 29th Annual Celebration

Past event
May 15, 2014, 6 to 9:30 PM

If you care about what you eat and the people who produce real food, this is not a conversation – or event – you want to miss!

Rural Vermont’s 29th Annual Celebration is coming right up. Held at the American Legion Hall in Chester, it will kick off with a good old-fashioned POTLUCK supper (so bring something to share), a cash bar, and a social hour with plenty of time for networking and catching up with old and new friends. Program hours: 6-9 pm. Cash bar opens at 5:30 pm.

Then will come a brief annual meeting, after which several farmers will take the stage for storytelling that will, not only demonstrate their passion and connection to the way they raise food, but paint a future that returns the “culture” to agriculture.

The stories will then lead into a dynamic conversation about the barriers preventing or impeding food freedom, solutions for moving forward, and how people can lend support to this movement to regain our food freedom.

It is FREE! Of course, they will welcome and appreciate special contributions to support Rural Vermont’s work to restore food freedom.

Location: American Legion Hall, Rte 103 South, Chester

I am going, and I will be staying past 9 pm to help clean up. If you want to ride with me, give me a call: 672.5390.
