As a member of the 18-piece Green Mountain Swing Band, I'd like to invite you, your family and any out-of-town guests to the Isham Family Farm Fall Festival on Sunday.
We'll play three sets from 1pm to 4pm of big band jazz from the era of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra as well as tunes from the Beatles, Chicago, Miles Davis and some latin jazz mixed in, too.
Bring a chair/blanket and make it a Vermont fall picnic afternoon. Don't miss this - it's our last event of our 2021 Vermont Summer Tour, which started at the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival this spring.
The Fall Festival is hosted by fifth-generation Farmer Mike Isham and his wife, Helen, on their historic 108-acre property at 3515 Oak Hill Rd, Williston VT. Have fun walking the corn maze, taking a wagon ride, picking pumpkins and sampling their fresh apple-cider donuts and other tasty local treats from local vendors (including crazy cotton-candy lady!)
Green Mountain Swing is an all-volunteer group which donates all proceeds and donations from our gigs to provide scholarships and funds to benefit student musicians across the greater Central Vermont area. Find out more about GMS here: https://bit.ly/3AlNVuj
