Start the Conversation Program on End-Of Life Care

Past event
May 18, 2014

Sunday, May 18th 6-8pm at the Congregational Church of South Hero, 24 South Street- join us for a conversation. We are talking about choices for end of life needs for our parents, for ourselves and perhaps for someone in our care..

Too often families struggle with the care and needs of a loved one at the end of life. Few of us are adequately prepared, often delaying end-of-life planning conversations until it’s too late. Join Daniel Wilds, MD, VNA of Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, for Start the Conversation- a program that encourages families to learn and talk about end-of-life care before a health crisis or serious diagnosis arises. You will receive a free Start the Conversation Guide, designed to help you begin talking about this with your family. This guide provides interactive worksheets, discussion pointers, and questionnaires to help you understand your options. Join us for supper at 6pm and conversations after to about 8pm. Please RSVP.
