Meet: On the trail next to Taps Tavern in Poultney. Leaving at 4:05PM to make sure we have enough daylight so don't be late!
Join SVT for a fun trail trick or treat on the Poultney River Loop and the adjacent D&H Rail Trail. We will meet on the trail, just next to Taps Tavern. The group will then walk a portion of the trail and find hidden Halloween treasures, riddles and trivia. Parents/guardians don't worry – the treasures won't just be candy. All are welcome to attend. Wear a costume to really get into the Halloween spirit!
We will move at a casual pace and can plan different groups based on ages. NOTE - the original description said we would walk the whole trail but we have changed to a portion of the trail (likely 1 - 1.5 miles of walking total).
Bring/Wear: Costume, appropriate footwear, layers and water. Headlamps (although not required) may help as we will wrap up just as the sun goes down.
There is no cost for this event. Please RSVP to our Facebook Event (https://fb.me/e/2GRMq0kFO) with a note on how many will attend so we can purchase enough treats. Everyone who RSVPs will receive a special prize!

Minors can participate with a parent/guardian present. Any participant ages 14-18 without a parent/guardian attending the outing must RSVP to info@slatevalleytrails.org and provide a signed parental waiver in advance
