Perennials at Women's Club Flea Market, Sat. Oct. 9

Past event

Fall is a great time to plant perennials! I just dug up 27 plants to offer at the Flea Market on the north end of Newbury Village Common this Saturday, 10/9 from 9-1. The soil is rich and moist and the plants are very happy!

This is a fundraiser for the Women's club: funds go to local community non-profits, maintaining the historic old church on the town green and flower boxes maintained along route 5.

Some choices include:
Rudebekia, black-eyed susan
Lady's Mantle
Geranium sanguineum
Purple Siberian iris
Sedum, autumn joy
Evening primrose (yellow)
Medium pink phlox
Forget-me-nots
Jacob's ladder
Catmint

I am willing to dig up the following, if you email me ahead:
Cut leaf coneflower (very tall, golden blooms, very prolific)
Tall fall aster, magenta
Purple liatris
Stella d'oro lily (golden yellow, long blooming)
