Havurah Kintsugi Workshop - Oct. 17

Past event
Oct 17, 2021, 3 to 5:30 PM

Join us for a special workshop facilitated by Sarit Katzew in the art of Kintsugi - the Japanese technique of repairing shattered pottery with glue and gold - a metaphor for embracing and elevating flaws and imperfections.

We will use Jewish texts as a framing and each participant will have their own materials to go through the process of breaking down and building back up (that's right you get to smash things!)

It can be wonderfully cathartic and creates a unique experience for all involved.

8 spaces available. Materials provided. We will offer multiple workshops if there's enough interest.

Sign up today by contacting HHEdDirector@gmail.com

Masking, distancing and ventilation of our large social hall in place for safety.

Workshop will take place at Havurah House- 56 N Pleasant St, Middlebury.

Havurah membership not required. Donations welcome!
