Hi Neighbors! I work at a place called the Media Factory in the South End of Burlington and we are hosting an outdoor screening of our Crowdsourced Cinema Jurassic Park summer project at the Essex Experience on Friday, October 8 at 7 PM!

This summer, 37 teams of community filmmakers created their own version of a scene from the blockbuster Jurassic Park as part of Crowdsourced Cinema VT. The project was open to anyone in Vermont - no experience necessary. Teams worked to create their scenes using all available tools: they borrowed green screens from their local community media center; created special effects and fake blood; and ran from dinosaurs made out of toys, paper, puppets, and animated drawings. In the end, all these pieces come together in a highly entertaining feature film!
