Hi Neighbors! I'm excited to share that we are hosting a screening of our community film project, Crowdsourced Jurassic Park, at the Essex Experience on Friday, October 8 at 7 PM!

This summer, 37 teams of community filmmakers (including my family) created their own version of a scene from the blockbuster Jurassic Park as part of Crowdsourced Cinema VT. The project was open to anyone in Vermont - no experience necessary. Teams worked to create their scenes using all available tools: they borrowed green screens from their local community media center; created special effects and fake blood; and ran from dinosaurs made out of toys, paper, puppets, and animated drawings. In the end, all these pieces come together in a highly-entertaining feature film!
