Open House and Norman Rockwell Exhibit

The Arlington Arts and Enrichment Program (AAEP), a local nonprofit serving the greater Arlington community for over 18 years, is pleased to announce The Arlington Common initiative. Located at the former St. Margaret Mary's Church campus in Arlington's downtown (3938 Vermont 7A), the Common will serve as a hub for community, wellness, and creativity. The two-acre property is currently under renovation and, once complete, will include a community space, the Watkins House, a music and performing arts hall, and a fitness center.

The Watkins House community center will host a preview of the award-winning art exhibit, Norman Rockwell's Arlington: America's Hometown exhibit, on Saturday, October 10, from 10 -4 and Sunday, October 11, from 10-4 with tours and information about the Arlington Common available to all visitors. The exhibit was most recently featured at the State Museum in Montpelier and includes prints of some of Rockwell's most iconic images of life in Vermont.

We look forward to seeing you.
