Did you know that Vermont has more than 300 species of wild bees and that 60- 80% of wild plants in our state depend on animals, mostly bees, for the 'ecosystem service' of pollination? However, a 2018 study showed that over half of Vermont's bumblebee species are in decline or have disappeared. This talk will cover these pollinators and others, such as butterflies.
