Join photographer and naturalist, Cherrie Corey, for a photography foray along the trails at the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area at the height of autumn's splendor. Through the lens, we will explore a deeper communion with the natural world, focusing our attention on both vistas and details in the landscape in new and revealing ways. We will learn techniques for capturing the natural beauty and visual poetry of this beautiful mountain environment and natural history highlights will be shared along the way. For all levels of experience, bring your favorite camera or mobile device.
Participants will be invited to submit their best photo for display on one of the kiosks or the website of the Hogback Mountain Conservation Association (HMCA). Numbers are limited to 15. There are just a few spots left, and sign up is by email to hmca@hogbackvt.org.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 9 from 9am to 11:30am, starting behind the Vermont Distillery on Route 9 near the beginning of the conservation area. Covid-19 guidelines and parking instructions will be emailed to attendees.
