EMP Training Course on Working Safely with Lead

This course will give you the basic knowledge of Vermont's Lead Law (EMP) and how to work safely with lead. This course fulfills the training and certification requirements described in the Lead Law and is required prior to performing visual inspection, paint stabilization, maintenance, and filing of yearly compliance statements for rental properties and child care facilities that were built before 1978.

The library requires that masks are worn within the library.

This is a 4-hour course with an exam at the end of the course. The EMP certificate will be sent to registered participants who pay the $10 fee, participate in the class, and pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher.
