The Vermont Farmers Food Center (VFFC) increases access and availability of locally produced food in the Rutland Region through education, expanding markets and market access, aggregation, and distribution of locally produced and value added agricultural products. VFFC programs include a Farmacy – "Food is Medicine" program, educational programs with Rutland City schools in our educational greenhouse, and an Online Farmers Market. VFFC also acts as the Rutland County Hub for the Vermont Everyone Eats program.
Our campus in downtown Rutland is the future site of a storage and agregation facility and shared-use commercial kitchen as we work to address the need for agricultural infrastructure to support local farmers and value-added food businesses. Come grow with us!
