The Vermont Crafts Council is sponsoring the Vermont Open Studio Tour this coming Saturday and Sunday, October 2 & 3, from 10 am. to 5 pm. Please stop by and pick up a map so you can visit some area participating studios. I will be here making tatami bricks that will used as part of my original salts kilns firebox rebuild. The kiln will be converted from propane as the fuel source to wood. There will be a hodge lodge of seconds available and the pizza kiln will be fired up in the afternoon. Happy foliage season!
