The first annual 'Haunted Highgate and Halloween Trunk or Treat' is an event put on by the Highgate Library and Community Center and the Highgate Recreation Department. We are hoping to have a FUN, SAFE and SPOOKTACULAR event for Highgate and the surrounding communities. There are many ways to get involved including just coming to the event (for candy and scares)!
Event Details
2:30-4:15pm
Public Skate (Costume Contest)
-Join us for our regularly scheduled public ice skating time with the addition of fun Halloween themed music and a costume contest.
5:30-7:30pm
Haunted Arena and Trunk or Treat
-The Haunted Arena will open it's spooky doors for walkthroughs...IF YOU DARE! Enter through the main lobby and venture through the hallway and locker rooms for some scary fun.
-The Arena parking lot will be full of vehicles offering Halloween Tricks/Treats. Feel free to wander around to collect some sugared goodies!
Parking for the Haunted Arena and Trunk or Treat will be at the Highgate Elementary School. The arena parking lot is reserved for those offering Trunk of Treat treats.
We are also seeking volunteers and donations (for the haunted arena)
-Set up and take down of the Haunted Arena
-Scare-ers in the Haunted Arena (dressing up, saying BOO etc.)
-TRUNKS for our Trunk or Treat event. Passing out candy to the public.
-Decoration donations for Haunted Arena (lights, webs, masks, tombstones etc. etc.)
