Greetings!
Covid-19 changed the North Hartland Community Party plans but the Hartland Public Library wants to know how to better serve the village and we want to hear from you. A Community Conversation about Library Services will take place on the North Hartland Green on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM weather and Covid permitting. This initiative is made possible by an ALA (American Library Association) grant program called, Libraries Transforming Communities which "seeks to provide community engagement resources and opportunities specific to the needs of library workers serving small and rural communities."
Attendees will participate in small group conversations focused on questions such as: is there interest in monthly library programs for adults as well as children in the village? Would a "pop up" library be helpful for residents of North Hartland? How can library staff better support childcare providers? Box lunches and drinks will be provided, and childcare along with craft projects will be available for children.
Participants are asked to bring a chair. To ensure an accurate box lunch order, registration is welcome but not required. Come be part of the conversation - let's see what we can do together!
For more information and a registration link, please contact Amy McMullen, Children's Librarian at 802-436-2473 or email kids@hartlandlibraryvt.org
