Scott Cook Concert

Valley Stage Productions is hosting it's first "Special Events" concert on Thursday, Sept. 30 at Richmond Congregational Church beginning at 7:00 p.m. with the first of 3 performances beginning with singer/songwriter Scott Cook. (https://www.valleystage.net/scott-cook-9-30-21-700-pm/).

Alberta's Scott Cook has been living out of a van or a backpack for a dozen years now, touring almost incessantly across Canada, the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and elsewhere, and distilling his experiences into straight-talking, keenly observant verse.

Cook is one of the hardest-working DIY troubadours on the road today, averaging around 150 shows including a dozen festivals every year since 2007. All the hard miles notwithstanding, he still believes that songs can change your life, and your life can change the world.

The rest of our schedule of 7 additional "P.M. Sundays" concerts and 2 "Special Events" on Thursdays can also be found at www.valleystage.net.

Doors open at 6:30 and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. A Covid Protocol of masks being worn and proof of vaccination being shown by all who attend will be in place. We will be limiting our ticket sales to 85 people even though the capacity of the church is 175. We will also serve refreshments outside, under cover as long as the weather allows.

The concert is also available on a streaming platform for those unable to or choosing not to attend in person. It will be archived for 48 hours after the live concert and can be watched either when the concert actually happens or anytime within the 2 days following.
