Dear Neighbors,

In response to the many questions and concerns expressed regarding development and growth in Shelburne, the Selectboard has decided to devote the majority of our upcoming meeting on Tuesday, September 28th, to a discussion of our Economic Development initiative, together with regulatory, and planning and zoning reforms. The goal is to provide information about what these initiatives are intended to accomplish, and what they are not, and to get feedback and input from residents on these initiatives, as well. We plan to discuss where we are in this process, what has been accomplished and where we hope to go next. This will also be an opportunity to hear from our commissions, boards and committees about these initiatives, to gather additional feedback and perspectives, and to continue to share and forge a path forward together for our town.

I encourage any resident who is interested or concerned about the future of Shelburne to attend, either in person or online. We want everyone to be involved in these discussions.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, September 28th.
