Money Matters: Credit & Budgeting Basics at the Library

The Winooski Memorial Library is excited to announce our partnership with Opportunities Credit Union to offer their two-part Money Matters financial literacy series about budgeting and credit building basics!

Part 1: Introduction to Credit & Debt
Saturday, October 2 from 11 AM - 12 PM @ the Winooski Memorial Library

This workshop will introduce participants to the importance of credit and provide some tips to improve yours! We'll also cover credit reports and credit scores as well as what happens when you can't afford your payments.

Part 2: Introduction to Budgeting & Savings
Saturday, October 9 from 11 AM - 12 PM @ the Winooski Memorial Library

This workshop will cover basic budgeting concepts and discuss the importance of having a budget or spending plan. Participants will also learn different methods of maintaining a budget and some important money-saving tips.
