Civil War Talk at Norwich U. Sept. 30

On Thursday, Sept. 30, at 6pm, author Kevin Levin will be speaking about his book, "Searching for Black Confederates: The Civil War's Most Persistent Myth" in Mack Hall Auditorium on the Norwich campus.

Kevin M. Levin is a historian and educator based in Boston. He has taught history on both the high school and college level and has published widely in the field of Civil War history. Over the past few years he has worked extensively with educators and students across the country on how to understand the ongoing debate about Civil War monuments.

The event is free and open to the public.
