The Vermont Backyard Woods Course is designed for homeowners with less than 25 acres who want to learn more about the woods in their backyard: what's in it, who (wildlife) uses it, and how they can become better caretakers of it.
It is a two month self-pacing beginner's course of how to plan your backyard and surrounding forest to benefit you and in creating biodiversity. This is becoming even more important with the parcelization of Vermont and hopefully neighbors will work together. We are interested as we own 4.5 acres and truly enjoy our wildlife!
