We are excited to have the local elementary schools' art teacher Lyndley Mittler join us and guide us in the creation of a community art project. The theme will be "We're All Connected", and everyone is invited to make a spider for the big community web that we'll hang in the Old Town Hall. We'll use all kinds of standard art supplies (i.e. pipe cleaners, googly eyes, etc.) and plenty of odds & ends too (i.e. bottlecaps, acorns, etc.) to make our spiders. Adults are encouraged to get in on the fun too!
The grand unveiling of the web covered in all our spooky spiders will be on Halloween! This year, there will be trick or treating at the Old Town Hall so plan on swinging through Pond Village to pick up some candy and check out the community web.
In the meantime, plan to join us on 9/27 for spider making! And bring along any supplies you come across (not required). The more random and diverse, the more fun!
All event attendees will be required to sign a COVID-19 liability waiver in order to attend each event and will be required to wear masks inside the Old Town Hall. Disposable masks will be available at each event.
