Eating local food isn't just good for our personal health and for our community's health, it's also good for the health of the planet. Same goes for driving electric vehicles, so it's not entirely incongruous to catch Teslas and Leafs alongside locally grown potatoes and tomatoes as the Bennington Farmers' Market welcomes the Bennington Electric Vehicle Show (https://www.facebook.com/events/930482230835273/?ref=newsfeed) this Saturday.
All of your favorite market vendors will be there with a great selection of fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, canned goods, cheeses, crafts, baked goods, and more, so come fill up your Bennington Farmers' Market tote bag and check out the electric vehicles on display. Or just sit a spell and listen to this week's musical guest, Dane Whitman.
The market is located at the Deer Park, 100 Veterans Memorial Drive. Parking, as always, will be available across from the Tastee Freeze or in front of and behind the chamber of commerce building. Masks are recommended for anybody who is not vaccinated, and leashed dogs are welcome.
See you soon!
