I am a professor of History at Norwich University and am hosting a visitor next week. He is a JAG attorney for the U.S. Army who deployed five times to Afghanistan. He will be giving a lecture followed by discussion for members of the University and broader Northfield communities. All are welcome. This is not a lecture about Afghanistan (I am organizing one like that later in the semester) but rather a lecture and discussion about the relatively new trend of attorneys deploying with combat units, and what that means.
