It's that time of year again to clean up our precious rivers.
--What? Southeastern Vermont Watershed Alliance (SeVWA), working with the Connecticut River Conservancy, is sponsoring its annual Source to Sea river cleanup.
--Who? YOU! Great volunteers.
--When? Saturday, September 25 from 9 am to noon.
--Where? Meet at the Dummerston Covered Bridge parking lot on Route 30
--Why? Well, unfortunately, some people are not as respectful of our rivers and riverbanks and have thrown trash both in the rivers and along the banks. Sad, but true.
--How? Come dressed appropriately, register, get supplies, and then get your hands dirty. Join in the fun and make a great impact for the good!
You may register online at Connecticut River Conservancy's website: https://www.ctriver.org/utm_campaign=enews&utm_medium=email&utm_source=cleanup or simply show up.
Light refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring your own cup.
