Past event
May 12, 2014, 7 to 10 PM

Dear Neighbors,

This coming Monday, the City Council will convene its first of two regular meetings for the month of May.

We will hold a very brief Local Control Commission meeting at 7pm where we will be voting to approve several first class liquor licenses and outdoor entertainment permits. Following this meeting, we will convene our Council meeting in Contois Auditorium in City Hall.

We will begin our meeting with a presentation from CEDO and the leadership of the Burlington Town Center regarding the two hour fee parking agreement with the Town Center mall.

We will then have the second of two public hearings on the Community Development Block Grant proposed action plan for 2014.

We will hear a presentation from Tom Moreau, the General Manager of the Chittenden County Solid Waste District on the FY15 budget.

We will be voting on an outdoor entertainment permit for Arts Riot for Friday evenings.

We will then have council committee reports, comments from councilors and the Mayor. Please keep in mind that you are welcome to come to a council meeting and speak to the Council on any subject you wish during our Public Forum which begins at 7:30pm.

Clickable agenda items can be found on the City's website:
