I know that unaffordable healthcare costs and lack of access to healthcare is a huge issue for folks in our community, and thought folks would be interested in this upcoming event.
Join us in Barre on September 18th for a March for Medicaid! Meet at City Hall Park at 1130am -- we will march at noon and have a rally in City Hall Park afterwards.
We take action together to say that urgent action is needed now. Medicaid can and should be expanded to be a truly universal and comprehensive single payer healthcare system with no restrictions or hurdles. Our health care is essential to national infrastructure. We, the 140 million poor and low-income people in the United States, are essential.
** We are asking all attendees to wear masks/face coverings as the spread of the COVID delta variant increases.
