Food Shelf distribution will take place this Saturday; from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rt. 15 Jericho. Residents from nearby towns are welcome! Set up is drive-through with bags of staples and fresh produce plus an outside selection of miscellaneous items and pet food (weather permitting). Thank you to local farmers and growers (including Jericho Settlers Farm, Barber Farm, and Deborah Rawson Memorial Library) who have provided fresh vegetables and fruit this season. There is still a need for these staples: peanut butter, applesauce, canned fruit, ready to eat meals and cereal. Items can be purchased and placed in donation bins provided by the Jericho Market or at Price Chopper and Hannaford Essex.
