Castleton Day at the Library

Past event
Sep 19, 2021

The Castleton Free Library and the Friends of the Castleton Free Library are pleased to be participating in Castleton Day, Sunday, September 19th from 11:00 – 2:00. Come in to cool off, warm up, dry off and/or to just take a break.

The Friends of the Library will be holding a small (but selective) book sale under the tent outside the library. Come and take home a "forever yours" book!
The library will have free activity boxes and free books for the kids out on the lawn. In case of rain, they will be inside.

Come in the library and sign up for a library card to access all the services the library has to offer! We have Bikes to check out in the spring, summer, and fall and snowshoes in the winter! The Friends of the Library donate museum passes to access area museums and parks which provide discounts to library patrons. The Friends also fund our streaming service, Kanopy, for patrons to access movies, series and kid's programming.

The library will be holding a sale of beautifully bound editions of National Geographic Magazine. These are all quite old and fascinating. Great for gifts! Perhaps give a bound edition to your parent, sibling, spouse or friend with the magazine of the year of their birth or anniversary…. Suggested donation is $5.00 per copy.

Email: castletonfreelibrary@gmail.com or call the library for more information, 468-5574.
We look forward to seeing you at the library!
