Join the Essex Conservation and Trails Committee for the 2021 Fall Clean-Up Day at Indian Brook Park!

Though past years' events have focused on invasive plant removal, the park's beloved trails could use some TLC after a long summer with intense rainstorms, so the CTC will lead groups to trim back brush, clean out culverts and drainages, and generally tidy up. We hope to see old friends and new faces for a fun fall afternoon (though severe weather will push the event to the following Saturday, October 2nd).

Meet in the picnic area parking lot (above the dam) at 1:00pm, and remember to bring work gloves, sturdy shoes, water, and bugspray. We are not able to offer refreshments this year, so please also bring any snacks you will need, as well as rakes, shovels, and loppers / pruners if you have them, but know that some tools will be provided.
