The Salisbury Conservation Commission is planning another tree walk on Salisbury's Pitch Pine Trail on Saturday, September 18th from 9 AM to 12 noon. On our last tree walk we located ~30 species of trees and did not even make it half way around the trail. This time we should be able to add a few more species to our list. We will look at the leaf, bark, and bud differences of the great variety of trees along the trail. The walk will be led by Jim Andrews and is open to the first 12 fully-vaccinated people to register. The Pitch Pine Trail is mostly level and an easy 1.7 miles long, but we may not get that far.
