The Salisbury Conservation Commission is planning a second tree walk on Salisbury's Pitch Pine Trail this Saturday, September 18th from 9 AM to 12 noon. The walk will be led by Jim Andrews and is open to the first 12 fully-vaccinated people to register.

On the last walk ~30 species of trees were located and the group did not even make it half way around the trail. This time Jim hopes to add a few more species to this list. You will look at the leaf, bark, and bud differences of the great variety of trees along the trail. The Pitch Pine Trail is mostly level and an easy 1.7 miles long.
